Default vibration in new sxt 2010 4.0l

i got just over 3500 km on it, it has at idle and stopped. i see idle about 650-700 rpms. i get the stearing wheel vibration and on driver seats. i went to check the engine bay and noticed the engine vibrating back and forth. also if i go on the right side i hear a sound like ticking. is this normal? gets anoying when you sitting idling.

There is a TSB for the power steering hose. I would you get the van to the dealer and have it inspected.

Have a qualified Mechanic look at it. Vibration has to have a source.

Compare other similar vehicles to see if they are performing better or the same.

With only 3500km on the van, the qualified tech would be a dealer tech. Because the van is still under warranty. And the dealer will only allow a level 3 or 4 tech to look at the problem, not a lube tech.

Good advice. One has to be careful of the qualifications of who provides the advice. A lube tech - NO. A mechanic who thinks the nylon inserts for a sway bar bushing (Generation 4 vans) are throw away packaging items - NO.
There are advantages to having a qualified Chrysler Tech look at a Chrysler vehicle - because that's their speciality. While under warranty, that's the best way to go.

how the hose cause the vibration?

remember im at idle stoped and not turning steering. just feel it under me and on steering wheel. even at the the engine bay if i put my hand on the engine feel the vibration which could be notrmal but the side finders wheels i feel it transfer there too.

The TSB was the only one i found for steering for your van, and it would not cause a vibration or rough idle. But i'll send the TSB anyway.

Took the van in today to get the rough idle checked, the mechanic noticed the vibration of the engine and the rough idle but they said they cannot do anything because its not throwing a code. Told me they dont know what the problem is.
