Default No display on dash or brake lights working

Kind of urgent if anyone can help, wife had the 04 Caravan when everything went dead on the dash, no fuel, no odo, no spedometer, no temp etc. All the other electrical in the interior is working fine, stereo, lights etc. Also headlights and running lights work but no brake lights or signals, a little dangerous to drive as we live in the city.

check fuses, get a wiring diagram and see what things are on the circuit that could cause this extreme problem

Try disconnecting the battery for a while and the recheck. The FCM may have cause the cluster to lock up. This a reboot.

Was it raining when your van did this?

Tried disconnecting the battery already, nothing. No rain for a few days and we haven't been in really any extreme weather for a while although it has been humid. Everything was dry though which is why I think you were asking.

Will have it in @ the garage Monday morning and will let you know what they say,

FYI
Well turns out to have been something fairly simple, the wire for the hazard lights into the fuse box was corroded and had fallen off, replace it and the fuse for the hazard lights, all ok again.

it's great that the man was able to utilize someone that knew what they were doing.

Some problems are impossible to guess the answers on the internet.

Certain people have skills in specific areas. we all can't be experts for everything.

for example, I can do drywalling but I'm not great at it or fast. But I can do other things very well. I'll make money doing what I'm good at so I can pay someone else to do what they are good at.
