Default Altenator belt breaking

Hi,I have a 1999 Dodge Caravan, and I know this sounds crazy, but I,ve just bought my 4th belt, and going to get a machanic to put it on.
I"ve had the last belt put on by another machanic, and he also put on a new (I think tension wheel)but not sure, can anyone tell me what could be breaking these belts.

After the new belt has put on, ck the fan belt alignment on all the pulleys. Are they breaking or slipping off.

The belts are ripping, when they do I have to go out and cut of the piece of belt that is hanging off, then it's ok til another piece comes off.

Make sure you get all of the old piece's. You didn't say if you have a 3.0 or 3.3 engine?

You may want to remove the timing cover and remove any broken pieces of the other belts that have droken on you. Once you have install the new fan belt, have either you or the tech loosen the p/s pump. This will help to align the belt to the other pulleys.
