It could,Because they use the same part numbers on the transmission.

Maybe you need a new filter & fluid ? If you have adjustable band adjustors adjust them . Lovvorn

There are no bands to adjust. Since this transmission came out in 1989 it never used bands. The overdrive transmissions (A604, 41TE, F4AC1) uses 5 clutch packs no bands, no one-way roller clutches, no sprags. So there is nothing to adjust.
