Default electrical issues

hello all i have a 1998 caravan that is driving me crazy as the headlights don't turn off and the windshield wipers don't function at all and the blower motor does not work either, and i have been unable to pinpoint the problem so i was wondering if you all could help point me in the right direction i have ruled out the bcm as the lights remain on even with it disconnected. so any help would be very much appreciated.

Well my first guess for the headlamps, would be the switch itself. Try unpluging it. 2nd You could have a blown fuse, open circuit, bad ground, bad motor assy, or multi-function switch.

I think there are several problems. BCM has control of headlights and wipers. a real scanner would help with pinpointing some of these problems. blower motor would probably require a DVOM to pinpoint that problem.

That's a default. They are supposed to stay on.

When the new body style changed over from 95 to 96 (96-2000) there were a ton of issues with wiper "ghosting". Most of the time (not all) it was a result of the wiper switch. Sometimes there was an issue with wiper wiring but not always. However, your problem sounds like BCM or BUS related issues at first glance.
