Default 1997 Dodge Caravan missing?

My caravan seems to be missing, When idling it shakes a bit, You can see the steering wheel vibrating and you can sorta hear it. its not a steady vibration, More like every 5 or 10 seconds. Whats causing this? New wires, plugs, rotor, cap a couple days ago

Also if it means anything , rpm moves between 1 and .5. It moves slightly.

You didn't have the dist out? Two things to recheck, 1 the dist rotor,is the screw tight on the dist shaft.2 make sure the wires are correct on the dist cap. How was the van running before the tune-up?

It was missing before the tune up, and the screw is tight and the wires are right, it was missing bad enough before you could hear it at the tail pipe, now you can't

Time to do a compression test. You may have a burnt valve. Do you know which cylinder is misfiring?

Not sure which one is missing, There is a knock when it first runs, then it goes away after it warms up, i was told it was the lifters.

burnt valve or perhaps failed valvespring?
what weight oil u using? and is it old?
lifters will "tick" knocks are ususally conrods, wristpins, or rockers

did you not determine what was the dead cylinder by reading the old plugs?
