2002 caravan 3.3 - No blower

Hi,
I Have a 2002 caravan. We were down to just the high setting on our blower. Intending to pick up a resistor I let it go on for a couple of weeks. Of course the blower quit all together, and off I went to buy a resistor. After replacing the resistor I am still not getting anything out of the blower. I can hear some sounds when I adjust the heater dial or the vent dials, but the motor does not engage. Sometime a sound almost like the power locks have been tripped.
The kid at the parts store had told me there there were two resistors that they stocked. One for Automatic AC and one for Manual? I took the one for manual AC, as I only have a caravan SE... Does anyone know the difference here?
I have swapped the blower fueses and relays with known good ones. Does anyone have any ideas here.
Thanks
