Default Dodge Grand Caravan 2004 cruise control does not set

Hi,

I am new to this site, and to car fixing; yet I will do my best to learn. Thanks in advance for your help and patience.

This problem is fairly new; When I switch the cruise contorl, the light goes on, but when pressing the set button nothing happens.

Best regards,

Dodge Rider.

Welcome to DF
Did you check the vacuum line going to the servo? If you did, the next step is to check the switches with scanner to see if they are changing values.

Make sure your brake lights aren't on as that will cancel the cruise control.

Thank you Master Tech.

I tried to find a picture of the servo on the internet, but I failed. Could you please tell me where can I find the servo?

Thank you.

Hi mfahey,

why should my brake lights be on? you mean if there is something wrong with them? If that's the case, my break lights are ok.

Thank you.

Its below the battery tray. near the ABS module. If the brake switch is applyed, but the lights are not on. The speed control will not set.

You need a scanner that can read all the modules, Not just the PCM. I use a DRB3 that the shop has.
