probably a typo but I don't see anyone that displays perfection on here. At least my spelling is better than most.

What could this possibly be?

Should i put the code reader on it?
What color is your key? Is there a little red dot lit up in the cluster? Some of them had SKIM even back then. There may or may not be a code for SKIM in the PCM, just depends on what the fault is....if your van even does have the SKIM on it. Jack in the code reader and see what you find. It costs nothing and takes a couple minutes. It's always a good idea to hook it up anyway for ANY electrical problem and see if there's anything there to lead you in a direction. If not then go from there and check for power at your solenoid wire. After that, another quick check is swap your starter relay with a known good one. Easy stuff to do before you start digging and spending a lot of valuable time.

Good point. I was trying to start with basic, because the member only gave us the van won't crank.

IDK that 97's could have SKIM especially on a 3.0

dont think so, but I thought they still have the stupid alarm system where you need to disarm thru the tail gate or pass door.

OEM alarms still allow car to crank. but I've never seen a 3.0 have that high end feature.
