Caravan won't start - battery good - won't even crank
think its a 3.0 or 3.2 liter engine. jumped the battery and still nothing. even had the battery charged and tested good. it will not even crank. lights come on but it won't crank. Obviously it is not the starter - tested good - or a fuel issue and probably not spark either. It just seems like there is no power but the battery tests good and even jumped it.
What could this possibly be?
Should i put the code reader on it?

Model year? It's either a 2.4, 3.0, 3.3, 3.6, 3.8 or 4.0 unless it's a Euro model.
Do you hear a click when you turn the key? If not, it could get ugly.
Codes? Worth a try but you probably won't see any.

how was the starter tested?
absolutely sure you have 12v at the large starter terminal?
did you check the small wire at the starter for power when having someone attempt to crank the engine?
code reader totally useless for this problem!
you didn't state what year van? and VERIFY what engine you have. if not sure look at it. most have huge numbers right on top of the engine that states what displacement.

The Engine is a 3.0. It's your basic 6 cylinder engine that was put in thousands of these vans -- 1997 dodge grand caravan.
Anywho, the battery was tested at the auto parts store. I will have to put my noid light on the starter wires and test them.

If noid light lights up when ur turn the key, but starter doesn't turn, then you got a bad starter or lock up engine.

you stated starter tested good. I specifically asked you "how was the starter tested?' you NEVER answered my question. you went on to say the battery was tested at the autoparts store then started babbling about noid lights... which makes me wonder, why would a guy have noid lights when he can't solve a no crank condition. I don't even own a set of noid lights, never saw any reason to have them and I wrench all day for a living.

Other than that, noid light is pretty useless.

Lets start with the basic's. Does the engine crank over? No Using a socket turn the engine by hand. Does the engine turn over by hand? Yes/No If the engine turns over by hand, Then start checking for power and ground with a 12 volt test light or a DVOM. Do you have battery voltage at the start and ignition voltage at the starter?
I'm betting you omitted "not" between "could solve".
