Welcome to DF
When was the last time the van was running? And do you have a 3.3L engine or a 3.0L?

You will need to do some testing on the circuit. Do you have a power and ground to the coil? If not. Maybe you have open fuse or ASD relay. It could be just a bad coil, but you need to test it.

there are 2 wires runnin to the coil from the computer and when i had the key in the on position there was no power running to the coil through those wires when we had the computer hooked up to it and checked it during cranking it said that there was no spark and no rpm reading from the computer this was what lead me to replace the crank sensor to no avail. this morning when i hooked the battery back up to the van (needed to charge it) there wasnt even so much as a click from the computer once it had power back. (normally i would hear that click after putting the battery back in) these are all things that have lead me to beleive that it is the computer mounted on the left fender wall of the engine compartment would this be correct
