cept the / looks like a lightening bolt kinda deal.
its red, and if i remember right its under the check engine light.

came on the other day, along with the CEL. van wouldnt warm up at all.
im guessing the thermostat is bad, but not sure what the )/( means, googled to no avail.

That lightening bolt would be the throttle. Did you find out would the code was for causing the check engine light to come on?

i didnt get a chance to check the code yet, but my mom was driving it to my brothers farm and no lights came on, so we shall see what happens. thanks for the info on the light though

 

I'd check into that, if that system fails the engine will not respond to the accelerator and you'll be stuck.

 

I had that light too on my 2008. Ended up costing me about $700 to get the inake area completely cleaned. Hopefully you'll have better luck.

 

Van decided not to start this morning. The ETC light came on. Never had it happen before. I can not get it to start at all. I am 2000km over my warranty! How can I tell what is wrong rather than a towing fee and dealership costs? Go figure just as the warranty is up!

 

You got raped on that one. It's ridiculously simple to clean the throttle body.
