Default Fast Coolant Leak Between Engine & Tranmission ???

My 2004 3.3L Grand Caravan sprang a leak - a rather fast one... 2-3 cups per minute. The coolant is coming out from the lower part of the engine where the block mates with the transmission. There's a little "slot-like" area there where the transmission extends lower than the block. It's not leaking at the top of the engine. And I can't see all the way to the back side to see if it's running down from back there somewhere. (I kind of doubt it, but not sure.) Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

probably a freeze plug leak. Will require removing the Transmission to gain access.

Also check the heater hose going to the intake manifold and the rear head gasket.
