Break help 2001 Grand Caravan Sport

Had to go to work so needless to say he wasn't here yet. Will stop by thos afternoon and post update. Question.....if the brake pads are smoking (both left and right) couldn't that pump be causing that? I'm still wondering how if the ABS is disabled and no power is going to that pump how it could be making too much pressure like he said.

I suppose it's plausible the ABS pump could be creating pressure causing the brakes to hang up, which would of course cause heat. If you're seeing smoke, I would advise against driving it until this gets sorted out :-o
I'm interested to hear what the mechanic has to say.

Ok I talked with him and he's convinced its the pump. Said he's come across this before. Said that none of the codes made any sense. Never really got a straight answer about pulling the fuses and trying it. I did call the local Dodge dealership and asked them about it. That guy told me that if the ABS system is disabled that it would not make too much pressure and cause the shaking. I'm going to take that side a part tomorrow and check everything over from the rotor to the slide pins. You wouldn't happen to know where I could get a schematic of all the parts and how they are assembled to make sure nothing is missing or put together improperly?
