Anyone else ever experience this?

I have the touchscreen radio with HDD (no Nav or BT). I have a bunch of mp3 files stored on my HDD and listen to them a lot. Recently, I started my minivan and was driving a short while before I noticed no music was playing. I looked at the screen and saw that none of the .mp3 files were listed. I checked "my files" and saw there was nothing listed there either.

A few hours later, I started the minivan again. This time the songs were back as though nothing was ever wrong. It was on the correct album and everything, playing as normal.

A day later, WHAM-O - songs gone again. I tried turning the car off several time and restarting, but nothing seemed to help. I did not try adding new music while it is in this "problem" state because I don't know if that will screw with my other music that is hiding.

I feel like there is something wrong with the radio, and I hope the crappy extended warranty will cover repairs, if necessary.

There maybe a software update for this problem. Check with your dealer and see if the radio has an update.
