Default No spare on 2014 Caravan

What to do? No spare tire on a Grand Caravan?
With no spare tire and a warning from dealer not to let a standard tow truck tow the vehicle what is one to do? We cannot get into a flatbed tow truck because we are disabled. We cannot hope to get on road service after hours.
The dealer said our vehicle cannot have a spare mounted afterwards. That it is not equipped to pay someone to equip it to be able to purchase a spare, then mount it into its spot. That this vehicle has no place to put a spare even if we pay to have a spot built.
ARe they deceiving me?
They even warn not to call AAA, but to call Dodge when broken down

i have not seen a 2014 but my 2010 has the spare under the front driver and passanger seats. u have to remove the middle console to use the jack wrench to lower the tire. the flat bed should have a wench to pull u up onto it if caint drive it.towing it I not sure why they say caint. u probably dealing with a dealer who not being to honest.

They're suppose to mention it that the newer models don't come with a spare tire especially the lower models, instead it comes with a blow up kit Dodge is not the only manufacturer that does that, there are other manufacturers too. Mopar has a kit for you to purchase but it's a bit pricey so I decided to buy a normal size wheels and tire. Besides am not a big fan of a donut spare tire.

The spare is a $250 option on '14's. Not many on lots have them, I recently found out.

Does anyone know if the kit comes with a jack? The Mopar site description says it does, but none of the pictures I can find of it show a jack.

Default spare

You can order a compact spare and have them mount it because I just bought a 14 and did this . Strange setup as the van came with the jack and the airpump with sealant . Thought it was strange they gave you a jack . This was before I ordered the compact spare. Everything is already there , you just need the tire and the cover it comes with and crank it up into the space in the middle front of the van between the driver and passenger seats underneath. They do get you for like $300 for this little piece of rubber called a compact spare. Check in the back of your van it will probably already have a jack inside a cloth case back there . It's in the little locked cubby as you face the front on the left hand side.

Thumbs up 2014 rt

we just bought a new 2014. The RT model comes with a spare tire. its hard to find anywhere in Dodges literature but its the only model that has the spare tire. thinking it didn't have one, we ordered one in the deal when we purchased the van. before the new spare tire came in, I found out that ours already had the spare.
