Default Everything works except starter

I changed the 1/1 O2 sensor. Went to start it and nothing happened. It had been driving fine before. I know the one thing I did wrong was disconnecting and reconnecting only the hot wire on the battery while doing the job to reset the computer. Just read a thread about the key reader though. Could I have shorted something out on that? 03 Grand Caravan 3.3 liter engine. The best I can tell all connections are still connected. Everything electrical works but the starter doesn't clickety click. Checked fuses and relays as well and everything was okey dokey.

That wouldn't have done anything to the starter. What I would do is check the power wire at the starter and make sure the ignition wire didn't fall off at the starter.

It's probably related to you unhooking the batt + terminal, since that's where the starter gets its juice. I'd start there looking for anything abnormal.

Unhook that O2 sensor you put on and see what happens.

so I run into the guy that gave me the van at church tonight. he asks me how the car is working and I tell him my dilemma. he grabs his chin and slowly says "let me tell you something about that van. theres a kill switch." A KILL SWITCH. at least now I feel vindicated knowing I did nothing wrong. its too late tonight. i'll fix it in the morning

Keep us updated. And if that fix the problem, hope you stay on post from time to time. Even if you don't have a problem.

wow, really? That's incredibly frustrating, but hopefully that's the solution. Please keep us posted and like above, stick around to see what's happening .
