Battery Dies Overnight - Instrument Cluster Clicking - VIDEO
Hi all. I'm trying to figure out why my battery dies overnight. Once I jump start it in the morning all is well and it operates / drives normally. But if it sits for 12 hours the battery will be dead. I was inside the van for a few hours tonight replacing a sliding door lock actuator and kept hearing clicking behind the dash. I noticed it happening every minute or so for hours. When it clicked the speedometer and tach needles would jump. Any idea what this might be and how to fix it? I'm wondering if this could be the draw on the system.
Could it be a circuit breaker tripping? Going to have a look at that IOD circuit. What you've got there in those gauges may just be a reflection of the current field collapsing.

Such as the IOD fuse malfunctioning? Are you suggesting I replace the 60 fuse in that location?
I had the battery replaced under warranty hoping it would help. It didn't. The gauges still jump and click same as before. Looking for some direction. Thanks!
Start pulling fuses. When the clicking stops, then you'll know which electrical circuit is causing your problem. You can trace the circuit to find your fault.
