Default 98 trans in a 94?

After much abuse, my 4-speed in my 94 Voyager (3.8L swapped) has finally ate a diff pin. I have a line on a 98 Caravan with the 3.3L/4-speed I can get for nothing.
Question is will this trans match up with the 94 wiring?
If it's just a matter of swapping sensors or swapping harnesses, no big deal. Or is it more in depth than that?

the transmission wont work with the wiring in 1998 the range sensor was built onto the valve body in 1994 it was a sensor that screwed into the front of the case next to the solenoid pack the picture is what you 1998 should have

Can it be re-wired to run the 98 sensor? Or will the 98 trans harness plug into my 94's harness?
I've already re-wired the van for the 3.8L/4-speed, so some wiring work doesn't bother me.

I don't know if it can be wired they are 2 different transmissions the first picture is what your 1994 should have and the second 0ne is what your 1998 should have you would also have to figure out if you can take 2 switches and make it one sensor and the tcm and pcm would probably be different also

Alright thanks.
I guess I'll be tearing into mine and hoping I can save it then.

Tore into her this weekend. Was pleased to see the diff was in great shape.
Started checking other things, and found the issue:
Mount was tore apart so bad it had allowed the trans to settle enough to make the DS axle seal leak (hence where my fluid was coming from). The Clunking I would get under acceleration was the trans bouncing up and down with the torque.
New mount installed and problems solved!

I was relieved when I found it was just a mount that tore up. I was expecting much, much worse given the symptoms.
