2014 Grand caravan P0868
Found some posts on here that have helped so I'm posting here for some help to figure out the problem. Vehicle was in 2nd gear limp mode. P0732, P0733, P0868, P1745, P0792. Changed transmission fluid and filter, it was dirty but not overly burnt, some fuzz on the magnet. Cleaned some metal off the input/output sensor. Checked pids, found fluid temp stuck at -3.0F, shaft speeds smooth while revving and driving, cleared VLP shift and output tooth counters, cleared codes.
After that there was no check engine light initially, still in 2nd gear limp mode. Drove it for a little bit and it started shifting through all the gears, a little harsh shifting but not jarring. So far only the P0868 has come back. Going to be if any more codes came up today. Any help would be appreciated.

That would be awesome thanks! When I was searching for the sensor that's what kept coming up was trs. Has ground to the sensor at the solenoid pack connector, didn't load test the ground. Found about 5k ohm between sensor ground and signal (22 and 23.) Was working from the information on this page:

Everything I’m finding states the temp sensor is part of the valve body (solenoid assembly) not the range switch. Unfortunately I’m not finding anything about whether or not it can be replaced separately or if the whole valve body needs to be replaced.
Did you ohm check any of the other circuits? The info on that page you linked is accurate, so I’d recommend testing the other circuits as well. 5k ohms isn’t unusual for a temp sensor but if the other circuits test more than 1 ohm above the numbers listed it indicates an issue with the internal wiring harness and connections.
If the other circuits test normal, it’s an issue with the sensor. Just make sure to test them at the recommended temperature (about 70* F) because higher or lower temps will affect the results.
