Try disconnecting the fuel injector wire harness, It the big connector on the back of the rear cylinder head. We did have some wiring problem back sometime ago and also check the wire harness the goes thru the front motor mount too that is next to the starter.

Disconnect and then reconnect ? is that what you mean?. To make sure every pin is well seated and making contact? Is the fuel injector connector near the alternator. If so, Sounds hard to access with out removing the Alt?

No comment on the cleaning the MAP? Or you do not think it is an issue?

I disconnected and inspected the fuel injector connector as well as a few others. I put dielectric grease on them for good measure. Still have the same symptoms. Now it will not crank in park. I have to put it in Neutral to get it to crank. It is going to be really hot today. I am going to leave the hood open and hopefully the heat will dry it up. Any other ideas?

What do folks think about adding a ground strap from the engine block to the chassis and one from the Tranny to the chassis?

Does this make sense? Shop said it was the Alternator. All I know is that the alt was fine when it was parked before it got the Spark plug and wires replaced. They say with all of the rain and humidity it was creating too much drag on the engine making it hard to start. they will stand by it but it sure seems like it may only be part of the problem. Not the entire issue. I will get the car on Monday so then I will know for sure if that solves the starting and electrical relay issues. I am skeptical.
