I have a 2012 dodge grand caravan SXT. For the makeshift oil dipstick to check trans fluid levels.. You tube Some say push it to the bottom of the trans pan and others say until it stops so i measured it by seeing how far the dipstick is past the water hose connected to the radiator. some are way past it some are even with it and mine is about 6 inches above it? not sure help

 

Try this. Go to the dealer and talk to a tech that works on transmissions. And ask if they have a spare dipstick laying around from the reman transmission they have replaced. Because a dipstick comes with a reman transmission. Or you could going online like ebay and search for one. I push the stick till it hits the bottom and your reading should be 40mm.
