With all the press about to be given up about this car I can't beleive that this isn't a go. I find it also hard to beleive that with the amount of info being released that they will mothball it. They were way late with a serious contender back during the ponycar era. With the Mustangs release and a Camaro in the pipeline this car MUST be produced and soon orthey are letting history repeat itself.

I can't belive they went thru the effort of making callipers with the Challenger name right on then and then still leaving them unpainted, also I do hope that radio/climate control setup is dropped for the production model, it's extremely aftermarket stereo unfriendly.

hehe, you just need a few thousand watts of amps, then you'll be able to hear it just fine over the exhaust, so will the guy in the mustang or GTO 10 car lengths behind you for that matter

Man! Aren't we getting a little ahead of things here!? Where's can they build it? Aftermarket stereos? Come on..... Who cares where they build it, as long as they do. I think I speak for most of us who've participated in this little discussion that yesterday isn't soon enough. As to the stereo, if it thumps like the Boston Accoustics unit in the Magnum then the factory unit is fine with me.
Remember it is a show car for now and it hasn't even been officially unveiled yet.

The real questions for me are:
1. Will they offer a convertible?
2. Will they offer it in Sublime and Plum Crazy?
3. Will I be able to afford two of 'em? One, hopefully a "392"HEMI convertible 6-speed to park in the garage next to my original (which you can check out on my homepage link) to pay for my retirement in 30 years. The other, a hardtop with an automatic to re-establish the LEGEND! I'm ready to develop some new street cred. How about you?

Where was the Neon built at? Surely with all those that were produced they have room now that the Neon is no more? Or was something else put into the Neons place already on the line? Awsome pics!!
