New Challenger?
i have not seen the new C&D, but the good people at MPH have shared some information (which i am obviously not permitted to share yet), and when the new MPH hits the news stands, i suggest that people look into getting it....it is an awesome article, with some great pictures.
and again, before everyone asks, no, im not going to post pictures here of it...

All of my sources say its a go. The main problem I keep hearing about is where it will be built. The current lx plant is Brampton assy in Canada. But they are at full capacity running three shifts. The only way I see them building it is if the magnum is dropped. Even then they will not be able to keep up. The other rumor is that sterling heights assy might get it. Which could be good news for me since that will probably be my next stop on my tour of Chrysler plants!

wont sterling heights be where the new sebring and avenger will be build? how can they fit a completely different platform there with those 2.
If it's true that it has been given the go ahead, oh boy! oh boy!, then they surely have a plan in place for which plant can be used. Wherever that is I hope they're ready for some OT because these things will be flying out the door as fast as they can make them
I had read about them giving the green light for a production Challenger a few months ago long before these pictures ever surfaced. What I has read though was that it was set for an '09 model release, but that could always change and I remember when they gave the green light for the '99 Charger R/T concept car to go into production only to be mothballed a year later.
