Your daily driving conditions, requires consideration.
Heavy stop and go traffic.... auto.
Open road.... stick/manual.
I would buy the auto, less miles on the vehicle and you know there is no tranny/clutch worries. Just a suggestion
Good luck on the vehicle and enjoy the new ride no matter which one you choose.

Automatic proves to be amazing. In fact look at the performance of this quickest automatic transmission Challenger SRT in the world. Image and video from Torque News.
The quickest Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat in the world with an automatic transmission ran an 8.79 at almost 157 miles per hour this past weekend - trailing the overall quarter mile record by 11 thousandths of a second.

Manual Transmission
I would definitely go with the manual transmission. You'll get better drive-ability, performance and gas mileage, but make sure you install the $25 CAGS skip shift wiring harness so it doesn't force you to go from 1st to 4th under certain conditions. Most Manual Transmission models have 3.90's in the rear so you'll get better launches off the start line. Besides, there's nothing like driving a stick bolted to a HEMI!!!

debatable:
-fuel economy is pretty close with modern lock up convertors...with so many gear ratios available in todays transmissions, the tcc are pretty much locked up in second gear. When they do unlock, when you stomp on it, it's to provide torque multiplcation that a standard trans can't.
-how is drivabilty any different?
-performance...auto is faster shifting, (some cars light duty trucks have a higher tow capacity with an auto trans...2000lb more for my chevy truck)
fun/driver involvement; have to agree. the car's are so computer controlled the only driver input is steering.
could be wrong here; do they not have an 1-4 lock out override on the new manual builds?
