If as we've seen, will you buy new Challenger?
then why is every magazine stating under 30 grand? at first you wont be able to get it anywhere near invoice, but after a while, it should be, if the magazines are right, and they usually are at Least close.
Now that's a good remake, the charger is pretty ugly

Same hood as the 1970, same lights, same shape ! SAME PERFORMANCE !!
No queston ill buy it

if they price it higher, they will be competing with the corvette, not the gto/camaro/mustang...and a manual C6 would give the chalenger a run for its money, with the published performance times.

but they have stated that their goal is to compete with the mustang and GTO...a "pony cay"..and i really cant imagine the magazines being That off in their price quotes...
It is one of those things, we will have to wait until it is official. We can all speculate and read the rumors. But until it is set in stone, we will just not know for sure.

There's no way this car can be priced over $35k, at the very least not to START with. Take a look at the Camaro for instance. Prices got so high that they discontinued it due to lousy sales. That and the T/A and Firebird took sales away from each other and the Camaro.
Now, I expect we will see a very baseline version of the SRT-8 for around the $31-32k range. Just the bare necessities. Then you start adding the additional crap and it will get up around $35-36k for sure.
The GTO has come down quite a bit in price since its initial release...and it's now a 6.0L V8 LS2 engine that produces 400hp for a MSRP of $31,990......so a 425hp Challenger shouldnt be too much more then that....otherwise it will flat out lose sales....
The convertible Mustang GT is only like $32-33k...so you have to think they can NOT afford to price this thing stupidly...
