I have dodge challenger GT 2018 and my screen is crazy on ghost touching am not use anything as of now, no CarPlay, temperature change and etc

please help what can be done here

 

What is ghost touching?

 

I see that on laptops with touch screens a LOT. The digitizer has some truly intriguing failure modes.... Sometimes simply cleaning it will solve it, but, more often than not, replacement is the only solution.

 

Auto touch on that screen, it touch’s by its self and I see this for a lot dodge cars

 

Has anyone found a solution other than replacing the entire radio? This is a serious safety issue. My Charger hydroplaned and I wound up stuck on the side of the rode. Bust my knee up pretty bad and couldn't really move. Since my phone had flown over to the floor of the passebger side of the vehicle, I couldn't reach it and because of the constant ghost touching I could not make a call for help. I will be doing whatever is neccessary at this point to get this fixed.

 

If it were a laptop, I would just replace the screen/digitizer.... but, I don't think that's an option for you. Likely replacing the entire radio is the fix.

 

Replace the radio if it's putting you in danger. Worth the price.

 

Replace the screen. There like $150.oo on amazon. Whats happened is the glue is separating between the screen and digitizer
