Look at the bright side, this is the best time for you to upgrade the hood and front fascia.

im with stroker...go ahead and let insurance pay for your srt hood and front facia...unless of course you have liability only, then youre kinda screwed.

lol i never thought of that... Would insurance pay for the hood/bumper? He was following a truck with a hitch when they stopped at a yellow that he thought they were going to run...

That hitch did some can opener action on the front fascia!

From the pics you posted it looks like the hood and front fasica are totled. If the insurance company will pick up the tab on a SRT8 or other third party hood and fascia that's very cool.

Not to rain on anyones parade: personally I wouldn'thold my breath on that to happen, things like that is what drives up insurance costs for everyone.

If they fight you on that "upgrade" and you want to do that you might see what it would cost, extra, to put something non-stock on the car.

The worst part is that the insurance company said since the motor got a solid jab to the block it has enough points to be "totaled". I told them no way it was that bad but they don't listen and now it is sitting at a salvage yard awaiting another freakin adjuster.....

Gunner,
Uff da... Sorry to hear the news.
I learned my lesson years ago, when my Dad gave me my grand father's 1960 Plymouth Fury when I was in high school (1970) -- I loaned it to my best friend's mother, and she rolled it over being drunk... she wasnot severely hurt, but the car was totaled. That has stuck with me ever since: just like this will with you.
Like Nancy Regan said, "Just Say No".
