No my car is strictly superchip and intake. But I have driven in a R/T with that exact setup I mentioned above and alls I can say is who needs an SRT-8 . The owner now runs a 75 shot for high 12second 1/4mile fun. Also I have been in a SRT-8 with a 75shot,and just and exhasutand boy there is nothing like the face of a rich guy when he loses to a SRT-8 charger in his $110,000 BMW M6

Well the HEMI SHOP offers stroked hemi's for sale. For us 5.7L guys there is 370cubes and 392 cubes. The 370 pulls slightly ahead of the srt-8's but with the 392 you will be challenging modded SRT-8's. Well if you want to stay with an SRT-8 alls you need to spend is $1300 for intake, superchip, and a 50shot of nitrous.
Hello,
This is my first post and I am new proud owner of a 2007 Charger R/T (purchased new on 7/7/07).
I am all new to the modern world of muscle car. Tell me more about this low cost upgrade of the muscle

Also,
Isnt running Nitrous hard on a engine??

Nitrous isn't what hurts your engine these days. The guys that design these setups have figured out how to avoid all the old pitfalls thet give it a bad name. As long as your fuel mixture is right and your not detinating nitrous is nothing more then added HP. HP on the other hand can destroy your motor if you push it beyound what the stock short block can take. From what I have read I would sy 100-150 HP over stack at the flywheel would start to push it, but by the time you get that kind of money invested it's not too far from beefing up the shortblock or just droping a crate motor in or something.

Upgrades being low cost, hardly.
Probably the cheapest is the CAI at $150- $350
then Chip $400-$500
Cat back $600-$1200
Headers $600-$1300
Heads $$$$$$

Not sure where the thermo upgrade falls in there price wise but I would bet it's cheap, and I'm sure theres plenty I left off like cams and what not but that pretty close to the order I would aproach it. Myself I wouldn't mess with internal parts till I got that list (with the exception of maybe the heads) done because if you ain't got the exhaust to get rid of the air there aint no need to put it in there. BTW Welcome.

It was the funniest thing in the world. The M6 has some serious topend so we decided to race from 60-120 and the M6 stayed at the chargers bumper the whole time.
