Question multiple misfire.. PLEASE HELP!!!!

hello, i have a 2007 dodge charger. when starting my car in the morning or after it sits for a while it starts up with a shaking spell until it gets warm. the engine lightsblinks while warming up, then it stays on steady. it seems as if the gas is skipping & its putting when u start it. also if u step on the gas pedle it will cut off. in order to have a smooth ride i have to let it warm up for about 15mins prior to driving. took it to dodge & they said "multiple misfires 5&6" came up on the machine. both cylinders 5 & 6 was changed & still same issue. next they did the coil pack, INJECTORS, map sensor & throttle body. the issue is still happening. they seem to be lost on what to do next & so am i. PLEASE HELP ME

what engine do you have? 2.7, 3.5 V6, or Hemi V8?

ask ur mechanic to run a Compression test on the engine when "cold", I've seen problem with Sludge built up in the Piston rings, and it would get stuck before oil gets hot. At least that'll tell you if the problem is mechanical or eletrical.

Also, would have happen to have ALL the trouble codes list?

thank u.. the codes are
P0300-Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0305-Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected
P0306-Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected

Also, do u think it may be a head gasket? although it is not over heating.

the machanics says they are changing all the spark plugs today. does that have anything to do with my issue?

yeah... it could be spark plugs, but this sounds like they are just throwing parts at at the wall, and see with one would stick.

I don't think it is the head gasket, but If it has to do with engine temperature, Then it is possible the problem is mechanical. Running a Compression test and leak down test will tell, When the engine is cold. at least isolate the problem between Mechanical or Eletrical.

yeah, Mechanical means something is wrong internally with the engine = expensive repair.
Electrical are like Computers, wires, Coil packs, injectors, etc... = It could add up if they keep throwing the wrong part at it.

they need to isolate the problem area b4 spending more money on your car.
