Dodge ChargerThe Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.
Just hit 1k miles on my HC.
Noticed a small puddle of red fluid on garage floor, under rear of vehicle, just to the left (driver side) of diff, near exhaust pipe.
Everything seems to be dry. Have no idea where it's coming from.
So far as I know, the only red fluid is transmission, which is in front.
Any ideas before doing the dealer trip?
Are you sure it didn't leak out of something else?????
So far as I know, there isn't anything back there for the fluid to leak FROM.......
I know! That's why it's so strange! Honestly thought I spilled some Marvel Mystery Oil since it's same color & consistency. But no, definitely not a spill after I saw it a second time after parking in garage overnight.
Crawled under there this morning to take a closer look.
Left rear axle where it connects to boot seems to be a bit wet.
Still doesn't explain why fluid is red.
Your puddle appears to be forward of the rear axles though. What's the funny little box that looks like it is connected to the exhaust there? Not leaking out of that is it??
Took her out for a spin. Parked in garage. Placed white plastic underneath left rear. Started dripping in 5 minutes.
Placed camera directly under leak.
And unless I'm color blind, it is red fluid.
