Default Engine Swap Questions

New here, real simple question which i cant seem to find in the forums or online, will a 2019 5.7 charger engine bolt right in like a 2011-14 5.7 will. Friend of mine is selling me his for cheap.

No. 09-12 and 13+ VVT engines have different crank tone wheels.

The tooth count is the same but the tooth size itself is different. Rumor has it (but unconfirmed) that you can use the later sensor in the earlier car and change something with HP tuners to make it work correctly.
