Default ESP BAS

Hi there,
When I started my car this morning the ESP BAS yellow light was on, Am sure i havent abused the brakes or turned the ESP off......I tried to calibrate the steering wheel sencors by turning the steering full left and then full right and center, but the light wouldnt turn off..

I just wanna know whats the problem causing the ESP BAS yellow light to come on, Because am sure the dealer wont fix anything, they just replace parts and make u pay hundreds of dollars for labour while it might be fixed for a couple of bucks. Thanks guys

I have an Sxt by the way...

It may not hurt to take it to a reliable dealer and have them check it... you might pay a few bucks, but it's under warranty, and may save you hundreds down the road. Unless you know what you are doing (and listen to someone who THINKS they know), you could even mess it up even more.

Go w/mnboy's suggestion and take it to the dealer. It may be a steering wheel position sensor or something else dealing w/the CAN Bus.

Good luck!

Glad you got it figured out.

And especially when it's under warranty.
