I use to eat those things all the time when I was a mechanic. You could find me by following the trail of shells on the floor

 

now offense takin since no offense was intended i tried my best to post as much detail as i could not a real mechanic like mango more of a weekend tinkerer .so maybe some of the technical stuff escapes me but i did my best

All puns aside topbanna3767, you did a great job. Look at the interest and thought you spurred. A lot of folks chipped in their ideas which are inspiring.

Everyone comes from different walks of life. I worked on seismographic trucks when I got out of high school many years ago. The label would have been a heavy mechanic. Now I work with computers during the day and tinker on the side with something I consider fun and a hobby. With these newer cars I’m just another shade tree (wanabe) mechanic trying to catch up with technology.

Keep up the good work and keep your thoughts flowing, you will grow from every new experience.

Yea Dave I only noticed that it doesnt cut out when it hits second gear.There was no tire frying going on,unless you want to hold the brake .I could already do that.

 

We've heard from some who seem to say it becomes a totally different "animal". Is it worth the time and effort? What do some of you others who have done this have to say.
