Default Cure for Throttle delay

If you are experiencing the so called (by the dealer) "normal" HEMI R/T throttle delay, have/make them perform TSB 18-018-06 (it flashes the PCM). It cured mine and even my wife who usually wouldnt notice if the right front fell off, comments that it's like driving a different car.

P.S. On a side note, has anyone seen any center caps for the R/T rims that have the red and black R/T logo to replace the "RAM" center caps?

I assume it's when you press the gas there's a delay on the car really moving.

When they first came out with the wireless throttle in 03 there was a cable mechanism that had play in it which caused the issue. A small tie wrap on that wire cured that issue. This issue sounds like its PCM program based.

I just had the Dealer add it to my work load. many thanks!!!

The dealer sells mostly trucks so I have to bring to thier attention any TSB's or issues.

They didnt belive me about the trunk.

I saw on the LX forum a page that was devoted to TSB's. ANybody know if we can post that?

I'll check and see if we can put their TSB page on here someplace.

Thats the one---(the one billydjenn posted) I know the title is for an error light but the dealer evidently has had success with it curing the delay (but I had to push the issue). It has something to do with the new/updated PCM software. I read someware on the net where it mentions it specificly as a fix for cars experiencing the delay that are routinely exposed to high ambient temps (like we have here in South Texas).

I dropped my car off this am and the dealer told me they ahve not heard of any TSB for the throttle.

They say that is normal for the hemi.

I wish they were wrong but no TSB no argument.
