So what did you pay for you Dakota?
2000 Dakota SLT, 4wd, Quad Cab, 79k miles. excellent shape. Perfect interior, perfect paint. Came with a brand new set of studded tires on matching rims as well. Really nice Matching Leer canopy.
$7,000 cash to local private seller.

1995 Dodge Dakota SLT (Mark III), 2x4, 5.2l Magnum, automatic, got it at 133k miles, paid $3000. Sister blew up the engine at 156k.
1992 Dodge Dakota 4x4 5.2l magnum. The transmission is shot so the plan is to pull the engine out of this one and place it into the '95. Might buy a good used engine and transmission to put in it down the road. Cost: $300 (bought from the same individual who had the '95.)

Bought my 2002 Dakota Club Cab Sport 4.7L V8 2wd, for $6400 from the original owner. Had just under 70K miles on it and even had a copy of the original window sticker.

2006 Dakota TRX4 SLT Club Cab in Black. Had just under 60K. Bought from the Dodge dealer (supposedly CPO'ed) for about 18k including an extended warranty (which I'm glad I did). I bought it about 2 years ago I think.
