Default Mopar EVS alarm system

I have a 2006 Dakota R/T with a dealer installed EVS alarm and the darn thing sounds off after I unlock the truck with the remote about every 10th time I arm it. Works most of the time but 1 in 10 it goes off for no apparent reason. This is the EVS 1 unit that uses the regular keyless entry key that came with my truck. I only bought the truck 2 weeks ago and they put the alarm in a week later. Anybody else having problems like this?

how do you lock it?
my sunfire flips if you don't lock/unlock the same way
you can't lock it from the door and unlock it with the remote or vice/versa without attracting a lot of attention

Good point, I lock & unlock in different ways at different times. As it is I dont have a clue as to what is wronge with it because it is a sporadic problem. I will try this and see if that is the thing setting it off "every once in a while".

did you get it into the dealer yet?
No the dealer is not that close and it is such a pain to do that I wanted to have as much information as possible to give them when I do. I just know how this is going to go "back and forth to the dealership". I don't think they really know what they are doing there so after the first attempt I will probably tell them to yank the whole damned thing out and I will go after market.

Check this out, yesterday it went off while disarmed when I shut the small back door. The front door was still opened because I was loading groceries in it. It had been disarmed for several minutes but it seems like it was the motion sensor that set it off that time as I sort of slammed the back door to close it because it didn't close the first time I tried.

Good news is I got the Lojack and Lojack First Alert installed finally

I don't want another fob! Dealer got it resolved, works like a charm now and they threw in a tank of gas for my troubles.
