Unhappy Electric connector for fuel pump

Does anyone know of a parts supplier that might have the electrical pig tail or the fuel pump on a 1991 Daytona. The ground wire made poor contact over heated and melted the connector andbuqqrning up the wires. It havesearched the internet, major parts chains and local dealers without success. Any advise would be appreciated.

Correct last post to say "electrical connector for fuel pump"

Pics would help, Also most connectors have #'s on them somewhere. If you can get the # you might have success in looking it up.

That is for the fuel pump RELAY not the pump itself.

Thanks for the info, but moparite requites a part number and mine is completely melted. Rock auto only has a connector for the v6 which uses the AC pump. Sorry it took me so long to respond, but I have been out of circulation for a while. Tomorow I head for the salvage yards.

The V6 and the 4 Cyl use the same pump/connectors per year. Different years may have different pumps/connectors, but they didn't change depending on engine.
To that end, if your pump got hot enough to melt the plug, you should replace the pump and the plug, unless of course you enjoy driving a rolling fireball.

when the connector melted both on the the harness and pump side the connection was broken and the car stopped. I am of coarse replacing the pump. I found a used connector on line but the seller would only sell the entire rear wiring harness for $250.00; so I am building a connector from silicone. Thanks for all of the effort by everyone.
