I bought my 92 Daytona 2.5L three years ago. Beauty of a car, no rust, good interior and I love the design on it. It is my daily driver, up until three weeks ago when it up and died, but I already posted that forum already. Anyways, I've always been a dogde driver. My first car when I turned sixteen was a '74 Dodge Duster, bought it for $500 from a neighbour. I've been happy with the performance of my Daytona (Up until it died) but when when i get it running again, I will be supremely happy! I miss my baby!

I currently own two 88 Shelby Z T2's and a 87 Shelby Z T2 and traded a 88 Shelby Z T2 for a GLHT and parted out a 89 Shelby Daytona T1.

The G body cars were really nice until I got a ride in a GLHT!!!

I own a 89 Dodge Daytona 3.0L CHysler V6 i wanna hope it up make it fast. I also own a 94 Dodge Ram Sport Short BOx. I wanna hope that one up to they both are my babies i'm only 17 so it is kindoa hard to do.

FYI - the 3.0 came out in 87 for minivans, 88 for Dynasty/New Yorkers, but not until 90 for the J/G bodies. Sooo...yours must be a 90 or something swapped.

 

I currently own 4 daytonas.One is an 87 shelby t11 car with t-tops and another is 88 t11 car.One has a 568 tranny and the other a 555.I also own an 87 pacifica t1 car and last but not least my daily driver a 90 es 2.5.I'm also currently looking for a nose piece like on my es to put on my t11 race car for looks.

I just bought a 1992 Daytona IROC R/T turbo III about a week ago. AMAZING condition. The guy had put a new motor and Garett T3/T4 ball bearing turbo in at 70000. It now has 72,500 on it. Leather and a moonroof also came on the car.

I do have a question though, I've noticed that at about 4000rpm the boost is at 10 pounds, it seems to back off to about 5 pounds from 5000-6000rpm and then goes to 12 pounds of boost at about 6100 until redline at 6700 rpm. Is this caused by a vacuum leak, or is the factory ECU/computer just doing its job?
