I have an 86 Turbo Z CS, 107,000 miles on motor, recently rebuilt tranny (5 spd A 525)
Red with black leather interior and t-tops, all options except digital dash and 12 button navigator.
Just picked up a direct connection logic module which makes this car scoot pretty well (increases A/F mixture, advances spark and increases boost from 7 to 14 psi).
VERY good shape, no rust (spent it's whole life in Western NY, so that's pretty amazing), all documentation and maintenence records. Needs a repaint, previous owner spilled gas down the side of the quarter, never cleaned it and it ate the paint away!!!

Hey I'm new to this site and I own a 1987 shelby z daytona.. this car is in perfext shape, but I need to replace the turbo. Currently the car has the stock T2 turbo and has just turned over 115 k on the engine. The head was rebuilt a little less than 20 k ago and the transmission has less than 10 k on it. My question is where's a good place to find the new turbo? can I go any bigger without modifing the engine? and how costly/ hard would it be to replace ? thanks for the help.
Hey gang, New kid on the block. I have two Daytonas now, 1986 Dodge Daytona C/S T-Top White with Black interior, Blown Valve. 1990 Dodge Daytona VNT just got it a month ago Red with black cloth interior I have a lot of performance stuff form my 86 to put in this baby.
I have a '92 IROC R/T myself along with some other turbo chryslers.
Takoma...alot of the '86 stuff won't work for the '90 cars, espcially for a VNT car. Big changes happened for these cars around '89 with the introduction of the common block. Also, you' 90 VNT car has the best 5-speed possible (568)and suspension/brakes not to mention forged crank and HD rods, etc...
