Welcome to DF.

Nothing on Dodge Forum can force close your browser like that. If you were having problems staying logged in, maybe, but nothing here can close your browser and send you back to your desktop. Something is either wrong or setup wrong with your browser or your PC.

What browser are you using? Also, what system are you using: Windows XP, Vista, 7, Mac?

I would download IE7 or newer, as IE 6 is outdated. Or Firefox. If you have the same problem with either of those, guarantee that there is something wrong with your system.

What do you use for antivirus?

Could easily be a browser HiJack virus... As the others mentioned, IE6 is
stone-aged in the computer world... D/L and update... then run this:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Also, what anti-virus are you running?

AVG: http://free.avg.com/us-en/homepage
or Avast: http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

are a few good free ones. You should also be updating Windows OS regularly...

Over a month late dude.

If you must go with a free antivirus program: Microsoft Security Essentials is a far better AV program than AVeraGe. Avast is OK, the Microsoft product is better, believe it or not.

More details in the "best and worst antivirus" sticky thread at the top of the computer page.
