2010 Journey won't start
After we came out of our favorite Restaurant, our car won't start. Battery seemed ok, lights and every works except the engine won't start. AAA came, tried to jump start the car, didn't help. Just before being towed, the car alarm went off, after shutting off the alarm, the car started. Could it be that I accidentally set the anti theft device? Does car has anti theft engine kill?
How do I unset it?

Welcome to DF
We have had a lot of problems with the WIN modules, causing a no start. Get the car into the dealer and tell them the ignition is causing a no crank and no start. After removing the IOD fuse for 1 min and push it back down, then the car would crank and start.

The problem was that when I took delivery of the car, the two keys were not registered into the car computer, only one was. The car couldn't not id the second key, thought some one was messing with the car & shut the ignition off. After I took both keys to the dealer to register on the car computer together, every thing was ok again.

did you have an Aftermarket Alarm or remote start? or u mean it is a factory alarm?
I've seen a few car where the aftermarket "transponder by-pass" device is throwing off the Security, it makes the PCM "think" you inserted a bad key.
I've also has problem with the TIPM not responding to the crank signal, but it starts after you disconnect the battery few minute, like Master Tech stated.
and sometimes i've seen Bad key causing intermintent no start. It is a good idea to keep 2 keys in ur household, so ur if you even take it into the dealership, they don't sell you a WIN when all u need is a key.
r u still under Base waranty?

Good that you could get the problem solved easily without any severe issues. actually, the problem that you encountered sounded pretty complicated.
