Is there any way of knowing if my magnum is actually anR/T? I bought it used and there is an "R/T" logo on the back but thats it. My girlfriends 07 nitro R/T has the "RT " logo stiched into theheadrest...etc. also my magnum doesnt have a fuel computer or whater you call it to show your MPG. Should i be concerned?? It does have a 5.7 literhemi and hauls *** like you wouldnt believe!!!

 

yes, you have a R/T. the EVIC is an option and the R/T on the seats is part of the road and track option.

diablosport is comming out with a new hand held tuner called the preditor. it will let you adjust the fuel maps and timing curve. i have one on order myself.

LOL. There is a test that can be performed on Stock Magnums to tell the differnce between the SE, SXT and RT. Just sit in a lonely Parking Lot and depress the Gas and Brake pedals at the same time. If no smoke appears from the Rear End, you've been had... If the back end feels like it is sliding from side to side, then you have an RT. Only the 2005 Magnums are listed as an RT, while on the later models they are listed as an R/T. There are few minor adjustments made to the 2006 Model, which I disagree with. No Hydraulic Springs / Lifts on the Hoodis the item I was least happy with them eliminating... But, the 2007 gets the 0-60 Timer like the SRT-8!

(Dual Exhaust is the easiest way to spot an RT, as most people like to strip off their Badges...)

Umm, the R/T has ESP.
Also, the suspension system is different, it rides harder than an SXT or SE.

The tires are 18", but the SXT has been given that as a package now.
Also, look at the door decal or simply go to any dealer and give them the VIN, for sure they can tell.
