check engine comes on alot!
Ive had my 2005 se magnum in 9 times because my check engine light comes on.They found a leak and fixed it, then they sais it was a fuse. I drove it long distance for 3hrs and it comes on every time, but not in the city. Has anybody had this problem?
Mine too. AirBag,thremostat,ESP system. Rear end leak, Locked up rear end. Trans Leak. Seat bracket broke, Trim falling off. Trans somtimes does not want to go into gear.Clear coat chippingon wheels. Valve ticking. A/C somtimesdoes not work on highway.Dodge makes eye catching auto's but they will need to work on quality and then I will continue to buy. Also trade in value sucks. 13k for an 05 R/T loaded. Sorry, just upset that a 35k is worth that little 3 years later.
if ever the MIL lamp comes on, there is a diagnostic code stored. to get the code do this:
Get in the car, close the door. Perform the following steps fairly quickly (less than 3 seconds) :
Turn key to ON
then back to ACC
then to ON
then back to ACC
then to ON
If there are any stored codes, they will appear immediately, in place of the odometer. For instance an "INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT HIGH" error will set a code of P0113.
let me know the list of codes that come up.

I did that exactly, nothing showed up. It showed like 5 lines, and then said-done- and that's it. I tried several times, but nothing.
