Default Tornado Air Management System

Has anyone put the Tornado Air Management System on their Magnum (or any other car for that matter)? Their website lists one (part no ki-90v3) for the Magnum. It's a static device that you insert in the intake after the filter that causes the air to flow like a tornado or like water going down the drain, which is supposed to increase fuel efficiency and power. It sells for just under $70. You can also order one based upon the diameter of your aftermarket air intake, if you have one. Any thoughts about or experience with this product?

JCwhitney sells them, I'll get one for my Kia Optima 2.7 to see if it improves HP and Fuel economy. I'll keep you posted.
If it helps, then I'll get one for the RT when I get my RT in 6-8 months.

Can you say "SNAKE OIL"?

If anything worked that good, don't you think that the manufacturer would put one on the car?

Save your pesos,

They seel them for my car (Kia V-6) at www.usdieselparts.com for $59.98.
I'll try it, because I've been curious about their claims, so I'll get it and let you know of any improvements in HP and fuel economy.

Don't bother wasting your money - I put one on my dodge Ram 2500 conversion Van (3.9L V6) and if anything it performed worse (if that's possible :-) and I know the gas mileage went down a little over 1 mpg.

The K&N filter and Flowmaster 40 (single-in, dual-out) woke it up in the midrange rpm's and gas mileage went up almost 2mpg overall.

Bob made a good point, stuff that is this inconsequential to manufacture would have been done by the manufacturers.

Total crap, do a search in Google or Google Groups (http://groups.google.com) and see what people have to say about it. There is a LOT of people not happy with this POS.

It sucks, don't buy it.
