Well I have been inundated with solutions for the lack of hp gain remaining.

So we will do some more runs. The interesting thing is some have said the stock hp of 65-69hp with a top hp of 80 with the intake made the car a bit of a odd ball. I was told the 69hp was high for the standard hemi in the 300c and magnum. What are other hemi hp readings? Anyone?

ORIGINAL: Tedman5

I chose to go with the K&N typhoon kit for less worries about the location, the proven
research and development that we all know K&N has always done, and the availability.
I'm a "do it now" kinda of guy. I have noticed quite a bit more throttle response, but
a bit more obnoxious on the noise side. Combined with the Flowmaster exhaust system,
its a bit louder than I had hoped for. But I think I can live with it. Compared to delivery
day, this thing is bad-*** now.

I too chose to go with the K&N Typhoon kit....I am very happy with it. I have a feeling
my setup is alot like Tedman's, with the addition of my 12" glasspacks to quiet the drone
some. I am looking at fabracating a piece that may "vent" air up to the cold air kit a
bit better.

ol Yes I suck.

Our last 6 intakes did not go out and as much as I was sure (still assumptions can find a way to get me) fed ex had problems with the delivery. First it went from being overnight to being ground. That still would have been ok because we could have overnighted the product. Then well I will post the tracking number and you will see the frustration. The address was correct by the way and I was told the shipment of clamps and couplers would arrive.

Just for the record I dropped UPS because of this kind of situation happening more than not so I have to say fed ex usually beats ups, but no company is perfect.

We use hightempsilicone.com product and I suggest you watch the site because this product is truly the best on the market and they will be posting detailed independent tests to prove they are. The couplers you receive are guaranteed for life.. oh and you are supporting a American owned and made product.

Fed Ex tracking number for our missing shipment. 421990260001772

The loss of gains from computer relearn are sporadic so we were told a ¼ mile test will reap better real world results. Once the chip comes we will really be able to show off consistent better gains.

A update from phantom..he would not share some of what I will but he is so modest.

In snow the intake did fine and he was able to cram large quantities under his car. No water injection with the rain either.

Now the funny part. Phantom 505 was raced by a FWD lexus…lexus ended up in the ditch. Yes he says the RWD hemi magnum handles great in the snow with the snow tires he has. I have no idea what brand of tire. The lexus owner was not young either …made it funnier. Phantom 505 is not shy with the pedal and does do a lot of traveling so we can be sure to get miles and miles of info.

Other intakes.

The phantom intake is not in competition our unit is not smog legal and does not intend to be unless requested. The intake was and is designed for people who plan to get serious hp from a seriously modified engine.

Looks like you received your missing shipment on 12/28. I received a K&N filter you had drop shipped to me from so/cal a few days ago. So, have you shipped the rest of my kit yet???
