What compares to a Magnum?
My friend,
It sounds like you need a Magnum SXT! I love my RT but the gas mileage really does suck unless you are in cruise at 65 on the highway. For what you are describing about the kids, sports and the commuting back and forth PLUS your loyalty to DC / Mopar, the SXT seems the logical choice!

i'll have to agree with illy. SXT if u're concerned about the mileage (logical choice). the mag's utilitarianism (?) can pretty much tackle all your needs. now since you are single, u have to decide, do u date fast women, or conservative women? cuz fast women like fast cars
...RT. plus u can get respectable mileage, if u have the discipline.

At this point, the slower the woman the better b/c it will be harder for them to get away from me!
Thanks guys, but what did I expect to hear from guys who already have one??

Nothing compares...retro classic look, performance, sedan handling with cargo carrying capacity. RT is the way to go. Nothing like stomping and romping. Anything with this much performance and carrying capacity you are looking in the 50s. I considered the FX...lousy bone jarring ride and also the SRX...nice interior, good performance but just could get over the station wagon look on the outside. The large sunroof would of been nice which I would of gotten on the SRX, but declined on the Magnum. Mot going to pay $900 for a stinky little hole in the roof. The SRX sunroof is a much better idea.
I chuckle when I I stomp it in traffic as I try to think what the other drivers are thinking..."A station wagon just blew by me!"

Nothing compairs to a magnum.
I looked at a Honda Element, scion XB, Nissan Murano, Chevy Avalanch, Hummer H2, and a few other rides.
The Magnum was everything I was looking for and more. We have two RTs now and I'm glad. They are fun, handy, roomy, fast and just freakin cool.

In 2008 Volvo V90 will very much look like the Magnum.

Ya just can't make a volvo look cool, man.
Seems weird to me that gasoline-powered cars are still in the plans of every car making company. One of the reasons I bought a hemi was because I knew it would be the last oil-burning car I own.
There should be a deadline etched in stone for this. But then, with our president stealing oil instead of taking strides to stop killing the planet, I guess many don't think much about it.
