There have been many reports of problems with the RKSport hood. The Magnum Force hood has just started shipping.

It is acctually just the shaker - you use your hood. I have been very happy with mine! I have links to the install on my web page http://www.letsgoredwings.org/magnum/magnum.htm

Don't try the RKSPORT hood...in my opinion, you'll regret it. Do a search of posts here and on any other boards. You'll find a few posts from people who are satisfied but many that are not.
I have an RKSPORT and wish I'd have gone with the shaker hood. I just hated taking a saw to that pristine hood. The Magnum Force I can't speak to, but...unless you're in a big hurry I'd wait on it to see what the first few customer say about fit, finish, and customer service.
RKSPORT botched all three, so...be warned.

Check the dates on those negative RKSport posts. The early hoods were junk. Impacted the wipers badly and stuff had to be grinded to fit. Some of those early hoods have shown up on eBay for short money if you're willing to do a lot of work.

Mine was second generation (after RK responded to those earlier posts with mods to the mold) and the body shop was pleasently surprised with how well it fit right out of the box. Looks awesome on the car.

It goes beyond just the quality of the hoods. I received 30 e-mails prior to my buying through RKSPORT and no a single one from the salesman or their customer service after the hood arrived damaged (all shipping was arranged by RK and I paid RK derectly) The last one (of two) from Mr. Wright, Sales Manager, was that they'd only talk to an attorney (that's reassuring, huh?). So far I've contacted the CA Attorney Generals Office, CA BBB, and an attorney in CA. So sure, go ahead and order but if you aren't satisfied with anything good luck. There may be some folks out there with better stories than mine (ongoing for 7 months) and a few who were treated well by RK. I learned my lesson. Sad thing is people will continue to give them business...for a price...so they relly have little incentive to provide a superior product or to improve customer service. But don't take my word for it. Contact those that have had direct dealings with RK. There are more than a few out there on the various boards. My prediction...more negatives than positives by a two to one margin. But again, check the boards. These things are a consumers greatest tool.
Me, I won't order another item at any cost from them and if anyone wants to see the plethora of e-mail traffic up until they received my money and the two e-mails afterwards, drop me a line.
