Default life gate is done

Turned out smooth. Some touch ups to be done yet but here it is:

went ahead and ditched the sirius antenna... sure wish I would have done this back when I shaved the roof rack.

and had a new front fascia sprayed and installed with she liscense plate holes filled in.

some touch ups need to be done. Lots of scratches on my ride... one in the glass of the sunroof. They broke the LED eyed skulls on the bacl liscense plate frame which popped a fuse so I have no LEDs or system as of now. They did good work but man were they gard on a brutha's ride. I had pillat panels all unsapped and stuff. Just kind of a sloppy way to return a ride. A fuse, a little buffing, maybe some clear fingernail polish in the glass scrtach?
It'll be fine.

the stock actuator button is tucked up under the lip of the liscense plate housing. Ya just push it there instead of under the handle where it use to be.
Later on, I'll hook it up with a deck release button where the trunk button is on the 300. Most everything I need is already there.

The tailgate looks good. It almost looks too empty, like something is missing...maybe some flames or something.

Looks fantastic. So sorry to hear the lil probs. The one thing I would worry about is the scratched sunroof glass. Tempered glass is very unforgiving on sctratches. Don't be surprised in the winter that a splinter crack develops. If it wasnt there when you brought it in, you need to make sure that it written up incase something happens.

i'm thinking about some sort of rear wing to replace the stock one. i'm sure you thought about that one too. any ideas?

the only thing about a rear wing on a magnum is all the ricer flack you'll catch. To defy that, an old Cuda wing in satin black would look bitch on your ride. I think it not being rounded like the top would be all bidness. I thought about it with mine but I've speant som much time and money shaving things off, it's be against the rules to bolt a wing on at this point. Nothing at all against the rear spoiler, it was my car that took adhered to a different look. I like the shape of the factory rear spoiler, disfunctional as it is. Too bad they don't just come painted. Having mine sprayed brilliant black right now and the third brake light is getting smoked. This'll make do until I fabricate some sort of LED bar in a stock rear spoiler. I want it franched in all the way accross the spoiler, smoothing out the buldge that holds the existing 3rd brake light. I'll figure it out but I have not been successful in finding a flexible LED bar that will work for what I want. I certainly havn't stumbled accross a Honda or Lexus brake light that would work. Early 90s caddys have the right arch but are way too long. Looking for 35 inches by a hald inch or less. Depth doesnt matter all that much as I'll be cutting anyway. Lemme know if you have any leads on this.

Next will be some tribal ghost flames and a new interior. I'll be doing promotional videos in exchange for those. I shot this last mod list and wound up with some pretty golden stuff not anticipated. I'll post a link when it's edited. It's turning into a show with a flavor all it's own.

as for a rear wing, i see something in my head like the one on the AAR magnum. i was thinking about fuseing something from the '87 monte ss rear wing with the magnum's stock one. i will still keep it satin like it is. it goes with my challenger t/a, aar 'cuda thoughts.

maybe mold one of these spoilers onto the magnum's rear fin.

for your car, i think painting the rear wing brilliant black with the caddy LED brake lights molded in would be sweet. i always like that part on the caddys.

I was just about to recomend a new charger wing but that little lip up looks perfect. Tuff. Not ricey, even looks like it'd be functional... not for dirty windowness but perhaps traction. Heck, good enough you could tell folks it holds the back wheels down and they'd buy it for a nickle.
I hope you do it. I think your onto something.
What do you have in mond for a front spoiler?
I looked at online chin spoilers. I like the SRT8 front fascia better than all of em. It's about $750 for the fascia, gilles and foglight inserts. I decided to just clean up my existing dammaged front fascia and modify it to my liking. I'm just wanting a little somthin somthin down there but aggressive enough ya see it. I've even thought about the ones you've seen with two posts coming out holding a hard blade? I've looked for universal chin spoilers but have found nothing that struck me enough to make it work.
I also wann cut out the cross bars in the upper and lower grille. I'll fins a mesh that I like and make cusom grilles to insert in the holes. It'll just be one bigass one up top and a good rectangle below. I may oval the edges down below, dunno yet. This will change the whole look of the front end. The trick will be getting it not to droop ion the middle... and the uppe (large) gille will take care of that.

in theory
