How long does a Magnum RT order take?
good question. I am about to find out.
when I ordered my '06 RT AWD there was a $500 rebate available which was credited to me. If the car gets here this month, there is a $1500 rebate available now. I am certainly asking for the rebate. I don't see how the dealer can tell me 'no,' but I'm sure he will try!!

Put 30 miles on it already and love it.

Ordered or Located(somehow they charge more for location)? All the dealers I emailed are saying 6-8 weeks. I cant wait, of course it has to be ordered in the first place!
I hate to tell you this but here is my story. My first contact with the dealer was Feb '04 Put money down and placed the order in March '04 Took delivery November '04. There were several hold up for parts and paint. It seems that DC changed the red mid way through the prodduction run the mirror sub contractor then had to repaint a lot of mirrors to the new paint code. As you know the RT has painted side mirrors to match the body color The SXT and Se have black mirrors. Further the sunroof sub-contractor also had a few production problems. Once I had a VIN I had the car in about 6 weeks. It took three weeks to get the car to California from Canada.

My entire process took just at 8 weeks and that was with the Thanksgiving holiday in the mix. I've had the car for almost two months (2800 miles) and couldn't be happier. Drives like a dream, smooth, but with power to burn (can't really burn with AWD) when needed. Now I'm going to start the mods
